Mission:
Encourage believers • Start conversations • Support ministries

I spent most of my life in the advertising business. I understand messaging. I understand what makes  people pay attention. And I understandhow powerful a simple idea can be.

But when it came to sharing my faith… that was different. Like a lot of people, a neighbor showed me  how he came to Christ. Shorty after hearing his story I accepted Jesus as Lord. After that happened I  wanted to tell the world.

But I didn’t always know how to start that kind of conversation. As I recall I asked my neighbor what  made him so peaceful which opened the door for him to tell me about the Bible and the rest is history.

But starting the conversation seemed pushy, even with friends. It all felt so awkward. And honestly, I  didn’t always know what to say. So many times… I said nothing.

Over time something became clear, most people aren’t closed off. They’re just waiting for a natural  moment. Not a speech. Not pressure. Just a conversation. And conversations usually start with a question.

I thought, what if… instead of trying to start the conversation there was something that makes people curious  enough to ask a question? When someone asks you a question, you’re not interrupting them. You’re not  pushing anything on them. You’re responding. And that changes everything. Now it’s natural. Now it’s real.
Now it’s just a conversation.

WitnessMakers exists to make it easier for everyday people to share their faith—one conversation at a time. No pressure. No script. No perfect words required.  Just a willingness to be open… and let God do the rest.

Even at my age I’m still learning. Still growing. Still having conversations that don’t always go the way I expect.

But I’ve seen this sort of thing work. A simlpe t-shirt with the words, ASK ME WHY... I have hope.  A simple question can open the door to something much bigger.

If that happens for you, even once, and someone comes to the Lord, the Bible says there will be rejoicing in heaven.

If you’ve ever wanted to share your faith but didn’t know how to begin, this may be an easy place to start.
