...AND JUST LIKE THAT, THE CONVERSATION BEGINS!

Not every conversation starts in church.

Sometimes it starts in a coffee shop… a hallway… or with a simple question on a t-shirt. Witness Makers exists to help ordinary people start real conversations about faith,  hope, struggle, and why Jesus still changes lives. Because your story might be exactly  what someone else needs to hear. Honestly, I used to avoid conversations about  God because I thought people would judge me, challenge me, or think I was strange. Then one day a friend asked me a simple question: “Why do you still believe?”

Story Example 1 — “I Finally Hit Bottom”
I spent most of my life trying to look like I had everything together. But inside, I was anxious, angry, and exhausted from carrying everything on my own. One day I realized success wasn’t fixing what was broken in me. I started praying honestly for the first time in years. Not religious words — just honesty. Little by little my relationship with Jesus became real to me again.
Not perfect. Real. I still have struggles but now I know I’m not facing life alone anymore.

Example 2 — “I Had Questions”
I didn’t become a Christian because I had all the answers. Honestly I had a lot of doubts. But I couldn’t ignore the peace and change I saw in certain people who genuinely followed Jesus.
So I started reading. Asking questions. Having conversations. Over time faith stopped feeling fake or forced to me. It became personal. Now my faith isn’t built on pretending — it’s built on a real relationship with God.

Example 3 — “Jesus Met Me in a Hard Season”
There was a season in my life where I felt completely lost. Fear, disappointment, loneliness… all of it at once. I remember feeling like nobody really understood what I was carrying. But during that time I started leaning toward God instead of away from Him. I can’t explain it perfectly, but I experienced peace in a way I never had before. That season didn’t magically disappear overnight — but I changed in it. That’s why my faith matters to me now.

You can talk about the times God carried you when life fell apart. The peace you found when you  should have been overwhelmed. The way Jesus slowly changed your heart over time.

What will surprise you was this: People aren’t looking for perfection. They are looking for something real.  Those conversations will change the way you think about sharing your faith. You will see that witnessing isn’t  about winning arguments. It’s about being willing to tell your story honestly when someone asks.

What’s your story? Think about it. Write it down. Edit it till it’s just right. Keep it real, it’s  not a speech, it’s YOUR story.

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who  asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”
